SCHOOL PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS AND PRICING
We long ago learned that one program does not fit all. Below are basic guidelines for the available programs. We can customize any program to fit the needs of your individual group or school.

PROGRAM #1:

Military living history field trip program located between Rusk and Alto, Texas. Ferret Armored Reconnaisance Vehicle This is by far the most complete program we can offer since all of our equipment and vehicles are available at one place and we utilize several acres of land. It has proven to be an excellent addition for field trips to the Texas State Railroad in Rusk

COST: the cost for this program is based upon a per student charge that varies according to the number of students. Please contact us with your requirements and we will give you a quote.

PROGRAM #2:

A Military living history program presented at your school. This is an OUTSIDE program requiring enough space for a small encampment of pup tents to be set up, one or two military vehicles to be displayed along with uniforms, field gear, rations (food), field telephones and radios. Space to demonstrate one vehicle is also desirable.

This Program can focus either purely on World War II, or more generally on the military history of the 20th century. We will bring one operational military vehicles. FAV Either a WWII jeep with machine gun simulator (very loud, but totally safe) it is used in movies, a Fast Assault Vehicle (FAV)  or a Ferret armored car (basically a small tank with rubber tires). These have appeared  in the movie "UNIVERSAL SOLDIER THE RETURN",

This program can accommodate any number of students from kindergarten through adult. Groups of twenty to thirty students can begin tour at regular intervals throughout the day. This also enables several smaller schools to use the program on the same day.

COST: base price is $750/day, plus transport costs ($1.25 per mile) and lodging for program staff. Depending upon the number of students, staff varies from a minimum of two, up to four. An additional $100/day for each staff member over 2 will be charged, so a maximum effort capable of serving 1,000 students per day would be $900 plus transport and lodging.

PROGRAM #3:

This is a scaled-down version of Program #2 and can focus either on World War II or military history of the 20th century. It is great for smaller schools or single grade levels. Tom Townsend will present three 45 minute programs including as many of the artifacts mentioned above as will be practical to transport to, and display at your school. Display will also include one military vehicle. This program can accommodate approximately 300 students per day in three groups of 100 each.
COST: $300/day, $1.00/mile transport cost, lodging

PROGRAM #4:

A military history program presented in class room, library or cafeteria. We will bring in what equipment will best suit the needs and interests of your students. Basic equipment: uniforms, field gear, radios and field telephones, and rations. It can also include a large variety of deactivated weapons. Although any program designed to teach military history is much less effective without the appropriate weapons, this choice is yours.
COST: $300/day, $.50/mile transport cost, lodging. We can do three (3) 45 minute performances per day.

OUR REGULAR PROGRAMS, POPULAR SINCE 1985!
